Dr. Linda George, DVM
The Humane Animal Clinic is open to the public and offers full-service veterinary care for all of your pet’s needs, from teeth cleaning and checkups through major surgery.
The Clinic is operated under the direction of Humane Society Naples Veterinarian/Medical Director, Dr. Linda George, a graduate of the University of Florida’s School of Veterinary Medicine who has been practicing for 12 years. Dr. Linda George has been here at shelter since May 2009 and spent 4 years in Latin America therefore can speak Spanish.
Dr. Kim Traugott
Dr. Kim Traugott is our veterinary surgeon at the Humane Animal Clinic. She performs high-quality high- volume spays and neuters (including pediatric sterilization) and many other soft tissue surgeries, as well as dental care and oral surgery for our shelter pets and private clients.
“Dr. Kim” received both her Bachelor of Science and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Cornell University. She has practiced as a veterinarian for over 17 years and has been involved with no-kill animal shelters for 30 years. Dr. Traugott is very passionate about assisting in the Humane Society Naples’ mission and in her continued pursuit of the latest in Shelter Medicine and optimal care of patients. She has a strong drive to teach and mentor others in her field.
Dr. Traugott is also a Veterinary Medical Officer for a National Veterinary Response Team which provides assistance following major disasters, emergencies, public health or other events requiring Federal support.
In addition to serving the general public, the Humane Animal Clinic provides care for the pets in the Humane Society Naples’ Adoption Center. Bringing your pet to the Humane Animal Clinic is one way to support The Humane Society and its mission while receiving expert medical care for your pet.
